FOURTH MONTH OF PREGNANCY:

     In the fourth month, the pregnancy is  already difficult to conceal and the greatest risk of miscarriage has been passed now it is a time to enjoy the experience. The fetus is  now growing faster. Eyelids eyelashes eye brows nails and hair are formed while the bones and teeth are becoming denser. At this stage baby can suck their thumb, yawn, stretches, and make faces. The nervous system is starting to function in this month. Kidneys are making urine while early sweet glands appear.

The morning sickness is now subsiding allowing you  to get little bit more active. In this month the genitals of the baby is also developed deciding that rather you are having a boy or girl.


IDEAL FOODS FOR THIS MONTH:

  At this stage you have to increase your calories intake by about 300 calories each day. The amount of protien intake should also increase by 20gm per day. Amount of iron should also be increased. The best foods are

dairy products

whole grain

beef

legume


BEST FRUITS

Use the fruits which gave you wide range of vitamin C

pomegranate

mango

orange

berry 

apricots


As you approach in the fourth month the colour of your skin becomes darker because of increased production of melanin. From this month till onwards you will start  to experience the food cravings.

As the nausea becomes subside the new problems arrives for digestive system and you can fell the burning sensation in stomach and in chest.

Due to lots of hormonal changes you may feel emotionally low so take a time for your self and enjoy your favourite activities. Perform a exercise to relax drink a plenty of water to keep hydrate


It is a saying that if you have a burning sensation in chest your baby will have a head full of hair at the time of birth do you experience the same or it is just another myth.

  2. Yeah in my pregnancy someone told this. And yes my baby had a very thick hairs.
